About this Study
This study is being conducted as part of the requirements for completing the Master of Science in Computing and Information Systems ↗ (MSc CIS) degree at Athabasca University ↗, Canada. The results of this research and the final thesis paper will be publicly available through the Athabasca University Library's Digital Thesis and Project Room ↗.
What You Will Do
- Complete a short online survey (80 phrases)
- Indicate whether each phrase appears meaningful to you
- Estimated time: 15–30 minutes
Your Participation
- Participation is voluntary
- You may stop participation at any time by leaving the site or closing your browser
- You may revoke consent and have your responses removed while the study remains open
- Once the study period is closed, you will no longer be able to start a new survey or revoke your consent
- You may optionally enter a draw upon completion
- There are no anticipated risks or direct personal benefits associated with participation
- Please retain a copy of this consent form for your records
Privacy and Data
- Your responses are associated with a randomly generated participant identifier and are not linked to your identity
- No personally identifiable information is required for participation
- Email is only collected if you choose to enter the draw or contact the research team
- Data is stored securely and deleted after 5 years
- Revoking consent removes your responses immediately (while the study is open)
About this Platform
The survey platform used in this study was developed by the principal researcher. No personal identifying information is collected during the survey itself. Contact and draw-entry information is used solely for its stated purpose and is not retained by third parties. Optimal Computer Solutions does not access or retain participant information.
