This research study helps us understand if an English phrase seems meaningful based on its Parts-of-Speech format using statistical analysis, and verified by human evaluation through this survey. Your participation helps advance our research into this topic area.

Meet the Research Team
Dr. Maiga Chang is a Full Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems at Athabasca University ↗, Canada. His research mainly focuses on the following areas:
- Game-based learning, training and assessment
- Learning analytics and academic analytics
- Intelligent agent technology
- Health informatics
- Data mining
- Natural language processing
- Artificial intelligence

Dr. Chang has given more than 110 talks and lectures in different events; He has participated in more than 310 international conferences and workshops as a Program Committee Member; and, he also has (co-)authored more than 227 edited books, book chapters, journal and international conference papers. He is an IEEE member since 1996.
Dan is a consultant in the Information Systems field, operating as Optimal Computer Solutions Inc. Over the years, Dan has worked on projects with organizations in Alberta, primarily:
- Computronix (2005 to 2017)
- Intuit Canada (2001 to 2005)
- TELUS (2001)
- City of Edmonton (1999 to 2001)
Dan is currently a Degree program candidate at Athabasca University ↗, Canada.
When Dan is not studying, he likes to pursue his many interests which include running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, hiking, racquet sports, photography, travel, language, and culture.
